Our work is focused on Sections 4-7 of the GCF’s accreditation standards and requirements, as shown on the DAP system (fiduciary management, environmental and social safeguards (ESS) and gender) and our scope does not include the assessment of gaps in sections 1-3 (background information on the entity).

The Niue Development Bank (NDB) in collaboration with the Government of Niue (GoN) is developing 
a strategy to more effectively engage with, and access resources of, the Green Climate Fund (GCF). 
This work is being supported by the Green Climate Fund (GCF) Readiness Programme, with delivery 
assistance from the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP). 
This document is an Institutional Capacity Assessment to help inform the actions of the strategy for 
enhancing NDB engagement with the GCF.
